Yummy Pumpkin Pie

Canned pumpkin is combined with evaporated milk, sugar, eggs, cinnamon and nutmeg, and adds sweetened condensed milk for some of its liquid and sweetness.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 29 oz can pure pumpkin
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 12 oz can evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 2, 9" unbaked frozen pie crusts

Method

In large mixing bowl, combine pumpkin and next 6 ingredients whisking until smooth. Pour filling equally into 2 unbaked pie crusts. Bake about 50-60 minutes at 350*. Check for doneness after 45 minutes. When knife is inserted in center and comes out clean, your pies are done!

 

Notes: I didn?t have all the ingredients for the traditional pie so I made do with what I had. I always get asked to bring the pumpkin pie now.
