Virginia Apple Pudding


A baked apple pudding dessert that is served with your choice of whipped cream or sauce.



Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup Butter  
  • 3/4 Cup White Sugar  
  • 1 Cup Flour  
  • 2 tsp. Baking Powder  
  • 1/4 tsp.Salt  
  • 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon    
  • 1 Cup Milk  
  • 2 Cups Cooked or Canned Apples

Method

Melt butter in 2 qt. casserole. Combine next 6 ingredients to make batter and pour over the melted butter in casserole. Pile apples in center of batter. Bake in 375* oven for 30-40 minutes or until batter covers the fruit and crust is golden brown.

Notes: Can be served with ice cream, lemon sauce and/or whipped cream.
