Ultimate Crumb Cake

Just like at grade school, a yellow cake with a cinnamon crumble baked over the top. Two cartons of milk today, please.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (plus ingredients needed for mix)
  • 4 cups flour
  • 3 sticks butter, melted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 8 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 tsp vanilla

Method

Make cake as directed on box. Pour into greased and floured 13x9 pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until almost done. While cake is baking, mix together ingredients for crumb topping. Sprinkle crumb topping on warm cake and bake an additional 5 to 10 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
