This dessert is easy to throw together and will be appreciated by adults and children alike.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 roll sugar cookie dough
  • 12 oz strawberry jam
  • 2 8 oz pkgs cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 8-12 fresh strawberries, sliced

Method

Coat a pizza pan with nonstick cooking spray. Spread cookie dough evenly in pan, shaping like a pizza crust. Bake until firm but not crispy; about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, mix together cream cheese and sugar until spreadable. Spread onto cooled cookie crust. Top evenly with strawberry jam. Return to oven broiler for 6 minutes until hot. Let cool, add strawberries, pressing into topping. Slice like pizza and serve with vanilla ice cream.
