Sliced fresh strawberries are layered into a baked pie crust and topped with a sweet mixture including strawberry jello and 7-Up soda, then chilled and served with whipped cream. As easy as pie!

  • Servings: 6-8
  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: Chill 3 hours
  • Total Time: 3 hours, 10 mins (start to finish)

1 Pie Crust, baked
1½ cups 7-up Soda
1 cup Sugar
2 Tbsp Cornstarch
1 Small Box Strawberry Jello
Sliced Strawberries
Whipped Cream, for serving

1) Bake the pie crust as directed. Allow it to cool.

2) Combine the 7-UP soda, sugar, and cornstarch in a medium saucepan. Heat to boiling over medium-high heat. Remove from heat.

3) Add the small box of strawberry JELLO. Stir until JELLO is dissolved. Let cool.

4) Layer the sliced strawberries into the cooled pie crust. Pour strawberry Jello on top of the strawberries. Put in the refrigerator. Let the pie set for about three hours before serving.

Serve with a dollop of whipped cream on top of each slice.

Helpful Tips:

I used to ask my mom for this pie on my birthdays instead of a cake because I loved it so much! Little did I know it was nearly effortless. The combination of crispy crust, sweet and tart strawberries, and smooth whipped cream tickles my taste buds.
