Peppermint Smores Bark

With a smores base and peppermint topping, this simple candy is a popular dessert for both kids and adults.
Ingredients
- 12 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- 2/3 cup graham cracker crumbs, divided
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
- 12 oz milk chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup finely crushed peppermint candy

Method
Melt dark chocolate slowly in a double boiler, stirring frequently. Once melted, quickly stir in 1/3 cup crushed graham crackers. Pour mixture onto a waxed paper lined sheet pan. Sprinkle mixture with marshmallows. Place pan in fridge and let chill at least 20 minutes. Melt milk chocolate slowly in a double boiler, stirring frequently. Once melted, quickly stir in remaining graham crackers. Pour mixture over marshmallow and chocolate layer in pan. Sprinkle pan with crushed candy. Cover pan with plastic wrap and place in fridge at least 45 minutes. Remove pan from fridge and break bark into pieces.
Notes: This unique holiday twist is always on every holiday treat plate I give out. I love the fact that I can whip up a big bunch with hardly any effort and most of my holiday baking is done.
