Ingredients:
| 4 | Large Ripe Pears, peeled and thinly sliced |
| ⅓ cup | Sugar |
| 1 Tbsp | Cornstarch |
| ⅛ tsp | Salt |
| 1 | Unbaked Pie Shell (9") |
| Topping: | |
| ½ cup | Shredded Cheddar Cheese |
| ½ cup | Flour |
| ¼ cup | Butter or Margarine, melted |
| ¼ cup | Sugar |
| ¼ tsp | Salt |
Directions:
Preheat to 425 degrees.
In a bowl, combine pears, sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Pour into pastry shell.
Combine topping ingredients until crumbly; sprinkle over filling.
Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is melted. Cool
on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
Serve warm. Store in refrigerator.
