Pear Pie

Easy and delicious

Ingredients:

4 Large Ripe Pears, peeled and thinly sliced
⅓ cup Sugar
1 Tbsp Cornstarch
⅛ tsp Salt
1 Unbaked Pie Shell (9")
Topping:
½ cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
½ cup Flour
¼ cup Butter or Margarine, melted
¼ cup Sugar
¼ tsp Salt

Directions:

Preheat to 425 degrees.

In a bowl, combine pears, sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Pour into pastry shell.

Combine topping ingredients until crumbly; sprinkle over filling.

Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is melted. Cool

on a wire rack for 10 minutes.

Serve warm. Store in refrigerator.
