Peanut Butter Bar Ice Cream


This rich and creamy homemade ice cream is made in an ice cream freezer using light cream and sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. It is flavored with crunchy peanut butter and chopped Butterfingers candy bars.



Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 quart half and half or light cream
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • l can Eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • I use skim milk to fill rest of can.
  • 4 butterfinger bars, frozen and crushed

Method

Mix peanut butter with half and half, stir in sugar. Add Eagle brand milk and vanilla. Pour in enough skim milk to reach the "fill" line of the container of a 4-qt. ice cream freezer; add crushed candy bars. Mix well. Freeze as directed by manufacturer.
