No Sugar Added Pecan Pie

If you are diabetic you still can enjoy a this treat.

  • Servings: 8
  • Prep Time: About an hour
  • Cook Time: 50 to 60 minutes
  • Total Time: 1 1/2 hours

Ingredients:

½ cup Surgar Free Honey (sold In Most Super Walmart Stores).
½ cup Sugar Free Maple Syrup.
Pinch of Salt
4 Eggs
2½ Tbsp Melted Butter
1 cup Splenda*
1 tsp Vanilla
1½ cups Crushed Pecans
1 cup Whole Pecan, for top of pie
1 Shot of Bourbon Whiskey
1 9" Deep Dish Pie Shell

Directions:

In a mixing bowl add eggs and all ingredients. Add melted buter (make sure it has cooled). Mix ingedients well. Reserve whole pecans for top of pie. Blind bake the pie crust until lightly golden. After crust cools, add filling. Arrange whole pecans on top of pie. Place tinfoil along edges of pie crust so it does not over darken. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes to an hour, depends on your oven. Let cool, slice and serve. You will never know it is NO SUGAR ADDED. Tastes like the real deal.
