No-Bake German Chocolate Pie

2 boxes (1.7 Oz, 4-½ cup serving size) of instant chocolate pudding
1× 12 oz. can Evaporated Milk, chilled, plus enough cold water to make 3 cups of
Liquid, total
1⅛ cup Pecan Pieces*
1⅛ cup Shredded or Flaked Coconut*
8 oz Extra Creamy Whipped Topping, thawed
*to Make The Pie Extra Yummy, mix the pecans and coconut together, place in a single layer on a cookie sheet and toast in a preheated 350 degree oven for 8 minutes. allow to cool 10 minutes before adding to the pudding mixture and/or garnishing the pie.


In a medium mixing bowl, add the 2 boxes of instant pudding to the 3 cups of milk/water. Beat by hand with a wire whisk OR an electric mixer at low speed for 1 minute.


1 cup of pecan pieces and 1 cup of shredded or flaked coconut.

Mix well and pour into the graham cracker crust. Top the pie with the whipped topping.

Garnish with:

1/8 cup of pecan pieces

1/8 cup of shredded or flaked coconut

Refrigerate at least 3 hours before serving.
