This pecan pie has a sweet, caramel flavor and is loaded with cruncy pecans.
Use a 9" pie pan with premade crust. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Beat eggs, sugar, salt, butter, vanilla and syrup together.
Mix in chopped pecans, pour mixture into pie pan and place the 10-12 pecan halves on top of mixture before baking.
Bake 40-50 minutes and let cool. Mixture will solidify when cool.
Notes:
Serve with or without whipped cream.
