Macadamia Fudge Pie


This pie goes together super quickly. Just stir together eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla, and hot fudge sauce and bake in a pastry shell.



Ingredients:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 16-oz. jar thick hot fudge topping
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped, roasted macadamia nuts
  • 1 deep 9-inch unbaked pie shell
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Method

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. In large bowl beat together eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla and fudge topping until smooth. Stir in nuts. Pour into prepared pie shell. Bake about 40 to 50 minutes, until just set but center is still slightly jiggly. Cool on wire rack. Serve slightly warm or cold with whipped cream, if desired.

Notes: A very rich pie for people who truly love chocolate and nuts. Quickly and easily put together.
