Lady Finger Cake

A cream cheese filling is layered with lady fingers and strawberry pie filling in this dessert recipe.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 8 ozs. cream cheese, soft
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 pkgs. lady fingers (unfilled)
  • 1 can strawberry pie filling
  • 2 tsps. vanilla

Method

Mix cream cheese and sugar. Whip cream and vanilla until thick. Fold into mixture. In an angel food baking pan, line bottom with lady fingers and all around the sides. Put 1/2 cream mixture, then lady fingers, then remaining cream mixture, then the strawberry filling for a topping. Then chill till set.
