This ultra-rich pie combines whipping cream, cream cheese, & Gianduia--an Italian chocolate-hazelnut spread, and is topped with a layer of chocolate.
Combine heavy cream, cream cheese and sugar in bowl of stand mixer. Whip to soft peaks. While whipping add 3/4 cup of the gianduia, 1 tablespoon at a time. Continue to whip to medium peaks. Spoon into pie shell. Chill. Melt chocolate in a double boiler or in a heavy saucepan over very low heat; stir in the remaining 1/4 cup gianduia. Pour chocolate mixture over pie and sprinkle hazelnuts over top.
Cut into wedges to serve and garnish with whipped cream.
