Ice Box Pie

A butter and powdered sugar mixture, spread in a graham crust, is topped with fruit-filled Cool Whip.
Ingredients
- 2 sticks (1 cup) butter, softened
- 1 bag confectioner's sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 3 bananas, sliced
- 1 can pineapple tidbits, drained
- 1 can fruit cocktail, drained
- 2 quarts strawberries
- 1 large container Cool Whip
- 1 graham cracker crust

Method
In bowl mix butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Add enough sugar until you get a thick consistency; spread on top of crust. In separate bowl, mix whipped topping and bananas, strawberries and canned fruit. Then spread on top of mixture and chill thoroughly in fridge before serving.
Notes: You can add or not add any fruit you wish. I like to slice strawberries on top for garnish and taste. This amount of mixture might be enough for two smaller pies.
