Heath Bar Crunch Ice Cream

Homemade ice cream with crunchy toffee candy pieces.
Ingredients
- 4 Heath Bars (or Skor), refrigerated
- 2 large eggs (or equivalent amt of egg substitute)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup half and half
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 tsp vanilla

Method
Chop candy bars into 1/2" chunks. Place these in a bowl and place in freezer. Whisk the eggs in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy, 1 to 2 minutes. Whisk in the sugar, a little at a time, and then continue whisking until completely blended. Pour in the remaining ingredients and whisk to blend. Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze following directions for your ice cream freezer. After the ice cream stiffens (shortly before it is done), add the candy and continue to freeze until ice cream is ready.
