This fancy dessert combines chocolate cake, ice cream and candy bars for a great tasting dessert.
Bake cake per box directions in 2 9in round cake pans. Cool completely. Set out ice cream so it is softening. Chop up all 3 candy bars. On a large platter or serving piece you can freeze place 1 round cake onto plate. Sprinkle 1/3 of the crushed candy bars. Cover cake and candy pieces with ice cream about 1/2 inch thick. Then sprinkle another 1/3 of candy pieces on ice cream. Place the 2nd round cake on top. Now place mini vanilla wafers around the ice cream edge (between the cake layers) to help hold the ice cream into the center. Place in freezer for 2 hours or until good and hard.
Then ice the cake with the butter cream icing. A thin layer covers all the cake and the cookies so it looks like a thinly iced cake.
Put back in freezer. Melt in microwave 1 cup peanut butter and bag of semi sweet chocolate chips. About 1 minute (time varies). Stirring so it is completely melted then add 2 cups of rice crispies. Take cake out and ice the cake with the rice crispy mixture. Cover completely. Sprinkle the remaining candy pieces on top. You can use the whipped cream to make a decorative border around the bottom of cake. Freeze solid for a couple of hours. Then enjoy.
Notes:
Make sure the cakes are completely cooled so they don't melt the ice cream too much. Make sure when you sit in freezer it sits straight so ice cream doesn't melt out when you first put it in to freeze.
