Grandma's Cream Puffs

These golden cream puffs are tender and light. Split and fill with whipped cream for an easy dessert.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 eggs

Method
Add butter to boiling water in a medium saucepan. Heat until butter is melted. Add flour and salt all at once. Cook, stirring continuously, until mixture leaves the sides of the pan. Remove from heat, cool one minute. Add eggs one at a time and stir into mixture until smooth. Drop heaping Tablespoons about 2-inches apart on a greased cookie sheet, shaping into mounds. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, then 400 for 15 minutes. Cool on rack, then fill with whipped cream.
Notes: Use a wet spoon to shape the puffs.
