Glazed Orange Slices

Brown sugar, corn syrup, cinnamon, and cloves combine to make a sweet-and-spicy glaze.
Ingredients
- 3 medium unpeeled, seedless oranges
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup firmly packed, dark brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 4 whole cloves

Slice unpeeled oranges about 1/4-inch thick; discard the ends. In a large skillet, combine butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, cinnamon, and cloves. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Lay orange slices in skillet; cook for 5 minutes, turning occasionally. Remove cloves before serving. Serve hot or cold.
Notes: This makes a great holiday or special occaision dessert!
