Double Chocolate Pie


Melted chocolate and cream cheese are added to chocolate pudding mix for an easy pie fix-up. Top with cream beaten with a little sugar and vanilla to serve.



Ingredients:

  • 6 oz. (1 cup) semisweet chocolate morsels  1 pkg.
  • (8 oz) cream cheese, softened  
  • 1 pkg (3.9 oz) chocolate instant pudding  
  • 1-1/2 cups cold milk  
  • 1 ready-made 9-inch graham cracker pie crust  
  • Sweetened whipped cream  

Method

Place cholocate in microwavable bowl. Microwave on High 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth. With electric mixer, beat together cream cheese and melted chocolate until smooth. Add pudding/pie filling and milk. Beat 2 minutes at low speed, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour mixture into crust and chill several hours or overnight. Serve with sweetened whipped cream, if desired.
