A flour-sugar-milk batter is poured over melted butter in a pie plate, topped with sliced peaches & sprinkled with sugar for this cakey dessert.
Melt stick of butter in bottom of pie plate in preheating oven. Meanwhile, in a bowl stir together sugar, flour, and baking powder. Stir in milk; pour mixture on top of melted butter and scatter peaches on top. Sprinkle with a little additional sugar. DO NOT STIR. Bake for 1/2 hour on 375 degrees F or until brown and crispy.
Notes:
Serve with whipped cream.
