Crunchy Baked Bananas

A quick hot dessert with bananas that are baked with marshmallows and cornflakes and sweetened with some brown sugar. Would be great with a scoop of cinnamon ice cream.
 

Ingredients

  • 2-3 bananas
  • 1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 2 T brown sugar
  • 1 cup cornflakes
  • 1 T butter (or margarine), melted

Method

Peel bananas and cut in half length-wise. Place, cut sides up, in buttered baking dish. Sprinkle bananas with marshmallows and brown sugar. Mix cornflakes and butter; and sprinkle over top. Bake at 375 degrees for about 12 minutes or until bananas are tender.
