Crisp Peanut Butter Balls

These simple-to-make treats combine melted butter and peanut butter with Rice Krispies, powdered sugar and chopped peanuts. The mixture is formed into balls and rolled in more powdered sugar.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup chopped peanuts
  • 4 cups Crisp Rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 pounds powdered sugar, sifted
  • 2 cups peanut butter
 
Method

Melt peanut butter and butter or margarine together in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat. Pour in peanuts, 1 pound of the powdered sugar, then Crisp Rice cereal. Blend well and chill. Roll into desired size balls. When done, roll in the rest of sugar.
