
This stovetop rice pudding is rich and creamy. Cook rice in milk and cream and spice it up with cardamom.
Soak rice in cold water 30 to 60 minutes; drain.
Boil rice, milk and cream together in medium saucepan. Simmer, stirring constantly, 15 to 20 minutes
Add cardamom and sugar.
Simmer until rice mixture is soft and creamy. Serve warm. Garnish as desired.
Notes:
Serve pudding in individual dessert bowls. You can also use cinnamon, ginger, or nutmeg.
