Creamy Chocolate Tarts


A rich chocolate filling with honey and whipping cream is spooned into graham crusts in individual tart pans and drizzled with white chocolate.



Ingredients:

  • 9 Tbsp (unsalted) butter, divided
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 7 oz. dark chocolate, broken into squares
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 oz white chocolate, cut up

Method

Grease four 4-inch tartlet pans. Melt 7 Tbsp of the butter in a saucepan; remove and stir in cracker crumbs until combined. Press mixture into bottom and up sides of tartlet pans. Chill until firm, about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, melt dark chocolate, honey and remaining 2 Tbsp butter in a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water. Remove bowl from heat. Pour in cream and stir or whisk until smooth. Divide mixture evenly in pans. Chill until set, about 3 hours. Melt white chocolate in small bowl over simmering water. Drizzle a spoonful of melted white chocolate on top of each tartlet. Chill for 15 minutes. Remove tartlets and serve.

Notes: This makes a great Christmas dessert for 4.
