Cream Cheese Crust

Use this rich pastry for a pie that calls for a prebaked crust, such as a strawberry pie, banana cream pie, or coconut cream pie.
Ingredients
- 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

Method
Combine cream cheese and butter; add flour, a little at a time. Roll out with a rolling pin between 2 sheets of waxed paper. Transfer to a 9-inch pie plate. Prick with a fork. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool completely.
