Cranberry Custard


This egg custard is made in a baking dish, rather than in individual custard cups, and has cranberries folded into the mixture.



Ingredients:

  • 12 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup cranberries

Method

Mix eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla together. Add berries. Pour into a 9x13" glass baking dish. Lightly sprinkle top with nutmeg. Bake at 350 for 60 minutes until set and knife comes out clean. Chill and serve cold.
