
A traditional cracker pudding that never fails to please.
Combine crumbs, sugar, salt & milk. Stir in melted shortening & beaten egg yolks. Add vanilla. Pour mixture into greased baking dish and bake at 325. 1 hour. Remove from oven and cover with meringue prepared by beating egg whites until stiff, adding powdered sugar and gradually add lemon juice. Bake 300 until meringue is brown about 20 to 25 min.
