Classic Rum Pot

Ingredients:
| 4 gal | Crock Jar |
| 1 bottle | Rum |
| 1 tsp | Whole Allspice |
| 1 cup | Strawberries |
| ¾ cup | Sugar |
| 1 cup | Pitted Cherries |
| ¾ cup | Sugar |
| 1 cup | Pineapple |
| ¾ cup | Sugar |
| 1 cup | Chopped Apples |
| ¾ cup | Sugar |
| 1 cup | Ripe Sliced Pears |
| ¾ cup | Sugar |
| 1 cup | Green Grapes |
| ¾ cup | Sugar |
| 1 cup | Red Raspberries |
| ¾ cup | Sugar |
| 1 cup | Chopped Peaches |
| ¾ cup | Sugar |
| 1 stick | Cinnamon |
| 1 Tbsp | Whole Cloves |
| Sliced Orange Peel | |
Directions:
Place layers of fruit and sugar in crock. Sprinkle each layer with a little spice and orange peel. Cover with rum.
Let stand 6 weeks or longer.
****Fruits can be added as they come into season, making sure that after addition, you add sufficient rum to cover fruit****
This is very good over ice cream or pound cake.
