Raisins, peanuts and pretzels in sweet milk chocolate candy cups--a special treat for kids and adults.
In microwave heat melt chocolate for 35 second increments, stirring after each increment, until all chips are melted smoothly.
Break candy bars into pieces and with same procedure melt all chocolate until smooth.
With rubber spatula combine chocolates and vanilla flavoring and set aside. Using plastic candy molds in the shape of ridged candy cups (resembling small peanut butter candy cups) found in most craft shops, quickly pour or spoon melted chocolate in each cup and add small amount of peanuts, raisins and chopped pretzels.
Notes:
Don't let the cups overflow. Let harden for at least 24 hours in refrigerator before serving. Because candy is mostly chocolate it should be packaged in air free containers with parchment paper lining or kept in refrigerator. This recipe was created to mimic one of my favorite candy bars as a child and teenager, the Chunky Bar, almost impossible to find anymore.
