Chunky Pumpkin Carmel Apples

This fall treat is perfect for kids or adults. The peanut butter caramel topping is a delicious spin on an old favorite.
Ingredients
- 5 medium apples, stems removed
- 5 craft sticks, dyed green
- 1 package caramels, unwrapped
- 1/4 cup chunky peanut butter
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 package orange sprinkles
- 1 bag chocolate chips or brown M&M's

Method
Line a cookie sheet with foil then spray with nonstick cooking spray and set aside. Insert craft stick into top of each apple and set aside. In a 2 quart microwave safe bowl, microwave caramel, peanut butter and water on high for 2 minutes or until smooth. Quickly dip apples in hot caramel mixture, spooning mixture over apples until well coated. Place chocolate chips or M&M's in the shape of a face and cover remaining caramel with orange sprinkles. On prepared cookie sheet, arrange apples. Refrigerate 1 hour or until caramel is set.
