Chocolatey Snowballs

Have fun with these coconut-coated ice cream balls by stacking and decorating as snowmen. Vary the flavors by using your favorite ice cream.

Ingredients:

• 4 scoops of any flavor ice cream (we like vanilla)
• 1 cup shredded coconut
• Multicolored sprinkles
• 1 cup hot fudge shell-type ice cream topping

Method

Shape each ice cream scoop into a ball. Roll in the coconut and place on a sheet of wax paper on a baking sheet. Place in the freezer to harden. While it hardens, put sprinkles in a shallow dish. Remove ice cream from freezer and pour the chocolate over each ball and then coat with sprinkles before chocolate sets.

Notes: These are fun to make into snowmen for a party. You can stack two on top of each other and hold together with a wooden skewer! A marshmallow on top is the hat. Red hot cinnamons for eyes. Let the kids have fun decorating.
