Chocolate Spiders

These fun Halloween treats are very kid friendly and a blast to make. The chocolate covered pretzels make great legs and the M&M's are the eyes.
 

Ingredients

  • 24 Oreo cookies
  • 1 bag chocolate covered pretzels
  • Chocolate sprinkles
  • 6 oz chocolate chips
  • 48 green M&M pieces

Method

Use a paring knife to cut pretzels for legs of spider. Melt chocolate chips over low heat. Dip top of chocolate sandwich cookie in melted chocolate and let excess drip off. Dip in chocolate sprinkles and set on waxed paper. Set 2 green candies for eyes. Dip 8 pretzel pieces in melted chocolate and set on cookie, 4 pieces on each side. Place a teaspoon or tablespoon of melted chocolate in a resealable sandwich bag. Snip a tiny hole at the corner. Touch the center of the green candies with melted chocolate to make pupils for eyes.
