Chocolate Snowball

Chocolate and graham crackers are formed into small balls then dipped in almond bark to form miniature candy snowballs.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups finely ground graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 squares almond bark

Method

Melt butter and chocolate chips over medium heat until smooth. Gradually add graham cracker crumbs and sugar. Mix until well blended. Form graham cracker mixture into walnut size balls and set aside. Melt almond bark over low heat until smooth. This will caramelize quickly. Remove from heat once smooth. Using toothpicks dip each ball into the melted almond bark. Cover completely and place on wax paper lined cookie sheet. Set in fridge for 30 minutes or until coating is set.

 

Notes: If graham cracker mixture is too moist add 1 to 2 tsp graham cracker crumbs and 1 to 2 tsp sugar equally until moist but firm.

 

Number of Servings: 12-18 Snowballs
