Chocolate Dream Cake

This easy, egg-less cake batter combines cooked chocolate pudding with dry chocolate cake mix, and sprinkles nuts and chocolate chips over all.
 

Ingredients

  • 3.5 oz. pkg. chocolate pudding mix (cook-before-eating, not instant)
  • 2 cups cold milk (for the pudding)
  • Chocolate cake mix (any brand, 2-layer size)
  • Nuts, chopped (1/2 to 1 cup)
  • Chocolate chips (1/2 to 1 cup)

Method

In large saucepan, cook pudding according to instructions on box. Remove from burner and add dry cake mix. Pour into greased tube pan. Completely load the top with nuts and chocolate chips, distributing evenly. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes or until tests done.

 

Notes: A super-easy yet decadent treat that people will love.
