Chocolate Chess Pie (from Angus Barn Restaurant In Raleigh, Nc)

Ingredients:
| ¾ cup | Butter |
| 1½ | Squares Unsweetened Chocolate |
| 1¼ cup | Sugar |
| ¼ cup | Light Corn Syrup |
| 3 | Eggs, lightly beaten |
| ⅛ tsp | Salt |
| ½ tsp | Vanilla |
| 1 | Unbaked Pastry Shell, 9" |
Directions:
Mix butter and chocolate in top of double boiler. Melt over boiling water. Mix sugar, corn syrup, eggs, salt and vanilla. Blend sugar mixture into butter mixture and turn into pastry shell. Bake at 375 for 35 minutes or until set. Serves 6 to 8
