This favorite recipe combines two convenience foods--pie filling and cake mix--to make a super-easy dessert. The dry cake mix is drizzled with butter and sprinkled with pecans for the cherry topper.
 

Ingredients

  • 2 cans cherry pie filling
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Method

Use a 9-inch square baking pan. Pour pie filling into pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix on top. Melt butter and pour over cake mix. Distribute pecans over top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until golden brown on the top.

 

Notes: An easy and very delicious dessert!
