Candy Bar Cake

A cake mix is baked according to directions. While hot, it's topped with chocolate bars to make a chocolate layer, then cooled & frosted.

Ingredients:

• 1 box 2-layer yellow (or white) cake mix
• 2 large chocolate candy bars (Hershey brand)
• 1 can vanilla frosting

Method

Follow cake mix recipe on box; bake in 13x9 pan. When done, take cake out of oven. While cake is still hot, break up candy bars and place on top of the cake; let sit 1-2 minutes until candy is melty. Spread candy bars over cake to cover; let cool. When cake is cool, frost with vanilla frosting.

Notes: Easy and Kids love it. May be made with chocolate cake mix with white chocolate chips and chocolate frosting.
