Butterscotch Delight

A simply delicious Christmas candy--just mix melted butterscotch chips with chow mein noodles, coconut and walnuts.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg butterscotch bits
  • 1 can chow mein noodles
  • 2 cups coconut
  • Red or green food coloring
  • 2 cups walnuts

Method

Melt butterscotch bits in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring often. Remove from heat, color coconut and add. Stir in remaining ingredients mixing well. With rounded tablespoonfuls, place on a 16 x 10 flat pan lined with waxed paper. Smooth together with fingers to make firmer.

 

Notes: Quick, easy, and can be made up ahead of time. Double the recipe, double the pleasure.
