Blow Up Dessert
Melted chocolate pieces are combined with egg and whipped dessert topping to make a creamy mixture that's poured over angel cake pieces.
Ingredients
- 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 beaten egg yolks
- 3 egg whites, beaten stiff
- 16 oz. carton Cool Whip, thawed
- 1/2 of a large (round) baked angel food cake

Method
Melt chocolate chips. Add sugar and egg yolks. Mix well. Fold in beaten egg whites, then Cool Whip. Tear cake into pieces and put half in a rectangular cake dish. Pour half of the chocolate mixture over top. Put remaining cake on top, then pour remaining chocolate mixture over cake. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Notes: This recipes uses raw eggs so be sure to take proper precaution!
