Black Raspberry Pie

Black raspberries are cooked until thickened with sugar, flour and a little lemon juice, then baked for a two-crust pie.Ingredients
- 1 quart fresh black raspberries
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Pastry for a two-crust 9" pie

Method
Combine berries, sugar, flour, and lemon juice in a saucepan and cook until thick. Pour into unbaked pastry-lined pie plate. Top with second pastry. Seal and flute edges. Cut slits in top layer of crust and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees F until golden brown, approximately 35-45 minutes.
