Black raspberries are cooked until thickened with sugar, flour and a little lemon juice, then baked for a two-crust pie.

1 qt Fresh Black Raspberries
1½ cup Sugar
⅓ cup Flour
1 tsp Lemon Juice
Pastry, for a two-crust 9" pie


Combine berries, sugar, flour, and lemon juice in a saucepan and cook until thick. Pour into unbaked pastry-lined pie plate. Top with second pastry. Seal and flute edges.

Cut slits in top layer of crust and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees F until golden brown, approximately 35-45 minutes.
