Method
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl combine the brownie mix, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup oil, and 1/8 cup water. Mix and set aside. In a separate mixing bowl, beat sugars, butter, vanilla and egg in large bowl with electric mixer on med. speed. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Dough will be stiff. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Divide chocolate chip dough into two parts. In a 9 x 9 pan spread one half of the cookie dough on the bottom evenly. Then pour in brownie batter. With the second ball of cookie dough create 10 little balls and space evenly around top of brownie batter. Place in 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until top is slightly golden brown, and knive inserted into middle comes out slightly clean. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes: Keep an eye on this while in the oven; all ovens heat differently and cooking times may vary.
Number of Servings: 9-12
