
Halved bananas, with skin, are brushed with a honey-rum-cinnamon mixture and grilled, skin side down, until cooked. The peel is discarded and the bananas are served with ice cream.
Preheat grill. In small bowl, blend rum, honey & cinnamon; set aside. Place bananas, cut side down on greased grill rack, directly over medium heat. Grill bananas about 3 minutes, or until bananas develop visible grill marks. Turn bananas; brush with honey-rum mixture. Continue grilling with lid down about 5 minutes, or until bananas are cooked through. Remove from heat, discard peel and serve immediately with ice cream.
