Banana Pudding with Sour Cream


This crowd-pleaser layers a tangy pudding mixture with bananas and vanilla wafers. Chilling softens the wafers so they are easy to eat.



Ingredients:

  • 4 6-serving-size packages French vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 8 cups milk
  • 1 8 oz. carton dairy sour cream
  • 1 16 oz. container frozen whipped dessert topping, thawed
  • 8 to 10 bananas, sliced
  • 2 boxes vanilla wafers

Method

Whisk together pudding mix, 8 cups milk and sour cream until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Using a very large glass bowl, layer wafers, bananas & pudding mixture. Continue until you reach top of bowl. Crush some wafers and sprinkle on top of mixture. Refrigerate for approximately 1 hour before serving.

Notes: This is another recipe that everybody loves. Hard for them to believe there is sour cream in banana pudding.
