Method

Take "hurricane" glasses and put a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on the bottom of each glass and put in the freezer. Melt butter in a large heavy pot over medium-high heat. Add brown sugar, whisking it in to rid of all clumps. Add alcohol. Once combined add heavy cream, a little at a time, to get rid of the graininess of the sugar. Slice bananas to desired thickness, add to the pot, not cooking for more than a few minutes. Pour over frozen ice cream; serve immediately. Add a chocolate cigarillo or fresh mint leaf for decoration.

Notes: The sauce could be made a few days ahead and saved, just add bananas once the sauce is reheated.
