Bakery Cheesecake

A low effort vanilla cheesecake using crescent roll dough as a crust.
 

Ingredients

  • 3 (8 oz.) pkgs. softened cream cheese
  • 1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. golden raisins (opt)

Method

Beat together cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla. When mixture is smooth, add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. In an ungreased 9x13 pan, pat out crescent dinner rolls to form a crust. Pour cheese mixture over rolls; sprinkle with cinnamon and raisins. Bake in a 350 degree oven 45-60 min. If using a glass dish, reduce heat to 325 degrees.

 

Notes: The raisins are optional but don't omit the cinnamon. It gives the cheesecake a nice added flavor- I think it wouldn't be as good if the cinammon is omitted.
