This dish is perfect for the fall season. Add this to the Thanksgiving menu or just prepare it for dessert any day.
Combine the water, brown sugar, vanilla and half the butter into a casserole dish and mix well. In a separate bowl, mix the sugar and remaining butter, and add the cream and salt. Then, add the flour and baking powder and beat all until creamy. Fold in your nuts, and spoon this mixture into your casserole, do not stir, just drop by spoonfuls. Baked in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until bubbly and serve warm with whipped cream.
