
This bread pudding is full of apple and cinnamon. Serve warm with whipped topping or ice cream.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 2-quart glass casserole dish.
In a large bowl combine milk and butter. Add sugar, eggs, salt, cinnamon and vanilla and stir well with wire whisk. Add bread cubes and apples; stir until moisture is absorbed. Pour all into buttered casserole dish. Set casserole in pan of warm water and set all in oven to bake. Bake 45 minutes.
Notes:
Serve warm in small sauce dish with dollop of whipped topping or ice cream. Drizzle caramel ice cream topping over all for garnish.
